If you’re suffering from try and find someone you trust to talk to. It could be a teacher, a parent or other relative, a close friend, a youth worker or anyone else that you feel comfortable with. It doesn't have to be someone in authority, just someone that you think you can talk to and that you feel comfortable with and trust. If they don't want to listen, keep trying until you find someone that does, you have the right to be safe and help and support is out there. You can also call ChildLine on 0800 1111 to talk about any problem or go to www.childline.org.uk where you can contact ChildLine by email and text, chat to a counsellor online or post to the message boards. Alternatively you can call Women’s Aid on 0808 2000 247, or email them on helpline@womensaid.org.uk
I understand that its hard, esp when someone won't let you go, I was in an abusive relationship for years. You can plan your get away, keep a suitcase packed with your essentials, including important documents, e.g. passport, drivers licence, national insurance, birth certificate etc and keep it with a trusted friend. You can also contact Women's Aid or another Women's Refuge that help women who are experiencing abuse in their relationships. Most importantly believe that you have the right to be safe. You can also keep the name / number of other people who can spend time with when you need a break or eventally ready to leave.

I feel very depressed, I can't say anything without him telling me its wrong. I do everything wrong, he has a bad temper, get cross very easy. Nobody of my friends and family are good enough! He tells me everyday I'm a bad mother and girlfriend although were are together for 13 years. He's always on his phone, takes is to the toilet, every where he goes and its on silent the whole time!

If you are feeling depressed or suicidal try and find someone you trust to talk to. It could be a parent or other relative, a close friend or anyone else that you feel comfortable with. There are people who understand, and who can help you deal with the problems you are going through. The Samaritans may also be able to help, take a look at their website at http://www.samaritans.org.uk/ or email jo@samaritans.co.uk. You can also call the Samaritans helpline on 08457 909090.

No one should go threw like this, it's not right treating a boy or a girl the way you want to treat them. I agree with everyone who doesn't like abuse. why should they stay in that relationship if they don't like it? walk away i would.

No one should be abused. A relationship is about trust, you should not go through your partners phone either way, but why be with someone if you can't trust them?

I completely agree with letting a partner read your Facebook and messages, if they/you have nothing to hide they should not even bat an eye lid, The passed 2 relationships i've had i read there Inbox's and it broke my heart reading some so , It made me think , yes that's made me realize what your really like, you will never know other wise.

I agree with people have the right to wear what they want but women go over the top if you make a simple comment like If your not happy with what your GF is wearing its classed as being controlling even though they could be wearing a mini skirt that shows there knickers and bum cheeks and a low cut top that shows off there breasts. I agree with ashley's post about you should't have to check someone's messages etc, and was nice to see them mention in the video about men and women with abuse.
